When Elf arrived at the shelter around Christmas time he was suffering from a very large wound around his neck. It’s a mystery what had happened or for how long he had endured in pain but he has been so patient here at the shelter during the long weeks it took for the wound to heal and now he is ready for a new life with a forever home that will treat him with the love and kindness that he truly deserves.
Elf has a calm demeanor and although he may be a bit reserved when first getting to know you he soon will lean in for petting and attention. He enjoys treats and can impressively catch them mid-air when tossed up for him. He has been effortless to walk on leash and would make a great hiking partner.
If you have another dog already Elf would like to meet them to see if they will be compatible.
Elf is sure to be your Ever-Loving-Fido if you just give him the chance at a good life with you!
