Smile and get your zoomies going--it's Friday! This happy chap is Vic and he came to BAS as a stray. He had a couple of boo boos that might have been the result of being hit by a car. But he has been checked out by our awesome vet team and seems to be fit as a fiddle. We estimate him to be around a year or so old, and he is quite friendly and playful! We believe he gets along with other dogs and would make a great family pet for just about anyone. Our February promotion runs through the 29th, and you can adopt any dog or cat for only $14!! So, come to BAS today or tomorrow and meet Vic or any of our other wonderful pets, and adopt some LOVE ??

Volunteer notes, 4/22/24:
Vic is full of energy and excitement! This boy is active and loves to run. We enjoyed playing with him in the yard.

Dog Day Out, 4/20/24:
I enjoyed hanging out with Vic! We watched TV and he laid his head on my lap. We took a couple walks around Elon’s campus, then played fetch with him at my apartment, then cuddled with him while we watched TV.

Dog Day Out, 4/13/24:
Vic did amazing today. Although he can be very high energy he settled down quite quickly. We took him on a long hike at Cedarock Park where he did amazing. He didn’t seem to mind the other people and dogs passing and did well staying with us and not pulling on the leash. He loves food and treats and is pretty gentle taking food. He was very affectionate and wanted to be right with you at all times. I think he would do great in an active home or at least with long daily walks to help get his energy out.

Dog Day Out, 4/4/24:
Vic went on a walk with me and my friends around Elon’s campus. He was amazing on a leash and loved meeting new people on our walk. He definitely had a lot of energy at first but after the walk he was much calmer & loved playing with his toys. He definitely becomes very attached to you and loves to be by your side. Vic would be a perfect fit for any family & would be great with kids! Vic is a sweetheart it was hard to bring him back! I hope he finds a forever home soon :)
