Hey, we’d recognize those ears anywhere! Meet everyone’s favorite longtimer, Julie!
Through no fault of her own, Julie has been at SFAS for over 500 days. The upside to Julie’s long stay is that we’ve gotten to know her very well: we know that she’s very tolerant of being dressed up in silly outfits, loves car rides, and will cover our faces with kisses whenever she gets the chance. We know that she’s a strong girl but she’s learning to walk nicely with a harness, she’s housetrained, and she picks up commands quickly. Julie is also a certified expert in K9 Nose Work, an enrichment activity that allows dogs to de-stress, builds their confidence, and fosters a bond between dog and handler.
Julie recently spent a few months in foster care, where learned that she’s loving and gentle with children, can get along with a young, playful dog, and is happy to be a couch potato! Most of all, we know that beautiful Julie is resilient––despite her sad circumstances, she’s maintained her sweet and sunny disposition. To know Julie truly is to love her, but don’t take our word for it––come on down and meet Julie today!
She is spayed, microchipped, and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply.
Julie's adoption fee has been paid for by Mrs. Vigil's class at Nina Otero Community School.
Julie is currently resting in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting with her please
