Hi! I’m Tulip!! My life got off to a rough start, so I came to the shelter with a lot of anxiety and not a lot of manners. I have come along way since then. I am told I am a petite pit bull that is soft, squishy and smart. I am very eager to please. Love Love Love affection ….to give or receive!! I would particularly love to sit in your lap while giving or receiving said affection.

I have been in my foster home for over a month. My foster mom is super happy with my progress learning the house hold routine. I am even now allowed to be with the the cat unsupervised!! A dog free zone is maintained in the house for the cat( which consists of a baby gate across the doorway. Tulip is very respectful of this barrier even though she could easily jump it.). I really like toys. When every one is ignoring me, I will go occupy myself with a toy. I am told I am getting less mouthy. I love my crate to eat and sleep in.

Foster mom says I would do best with a mentor dog in my new home. I really like even tempered males. No kids please as they are unpredictable and scary. I love going for walks with my foster brother, but without him I would rather stay home. I ride well in the car.

Foster Mom here: Tulip is just a love who just wants to please. She is pit bull though, thus can be quite pushy and determined. I believe she would do best with experienced pit bull owners. She does great on our walks. Doesn’t care about bicycles, people, other dogs, she just follows her foster brothers lead. They do not get any sweeter than Tulip
