Today I: walked around Willow Glen neighborhood with a few rest stops for water and rest. At first I was unsure of the plan for the day, but once I got lots of treats and encouragement I was excited to be outdoors! Iespecially loved walking in the grass and seeing other people and dogs playing at the park!

Three Words to Describe Me are: Friendly, Calm, Sweet
Notes from My Walker: When I picked up Ms. Incredible from the shelter she appeared apprehensive or scared with her tail tightly between her legs. I think this was her first DDO, and she is still adjusting to the shelter routine/ environment. After taking time to introduce myself, she allowed me to pick her up and put her in the car. She did exceptionally well in the car ride and appeared calm. We decided to walk around Willow Glen neighborhood. She seemed to love prancing on the plush grass and enjoyed sniffing around. When we walked to the park, she saw other dogs, a little league baseball team, and other people playing pickle ball. When she saw this park activity, her playful energy lit up. She went from having her tail between her legs to a playful, curious, smile on her face. She seems interested in other dogs, but in a playful way.

I am aware she arrived at the shelter with her puppy. Unbeknownst to me she was able to get nose to nose with a neighborhood cat hiding in the bushes, but she was easily redirected by me and she did not pull me on the leash. She rolled around on her back in the grass and offered me kisses during the car ride! She doesn’t really know her name or other demands, but she was very easy to “handle” and to walk on the leash. If you are looking to adopt or know someone who is thinking of adopting, please consider Ms. Incredible!
