Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Today Alex went on a 7 mile walk on Hamilton trail. He leads in front on walks and pulls for the first twenty minutes, very excited to be out and about BUT he does settle into a nicer pace after the first mile. He passed many people and dogs and strollers never veering in their direction. He got leashed up politely tolerating my fidgeting with the size of his harness and hopped right on the car and simply looked out the window or lay down for a belly rub! We have stopped at PEETS, STARBUCKS and OUTSIDE restaurants in Los Gatos. Guess what! He sits down and politely watches the people and dogs going by.

Today I packed a brush because I noticed how TUFTY he was becoming. I have walked him 6 times and he needed it. Alex loves to be petted and I was not sure if he liked being brushed. He never snapped at me for this type of somewhat aggressive brushing. I just telling him that he was a good boy and he looks up at me lovingly.

Three Words to Describe Me are: PLAYFUL FRIENDLY AFFECTIONATE
Notes from My Walker: ALex is a sweet heart of a dog. I felt as if I could trust him right away to be gentle and responsive. He has had apartment foster experiences outside the shelter but Alex would do best with a yard and things to sniff and look at. He also chases balls which is a great! His foster says he is crate trained, potty trained and doesn’t bark. I say you should meet him!
