Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Bernard bids you greetings! This awesome, handsome guy is soft, sweet, and full of love. Bernard is an older, vision-impaired gentleman (6-7 years) with advanced cataracts in both eyes. He’s blind, but that doesn’t bother him a bit – he gets around great and is happy as can be. He’s LOVES to snuggle and is a BIG foodie -- he waits eagerly at his kennel door when the greens cart arrives and devours in his yummy greens and treats. He is adored by everyone who meets him. He is also very clean with his litterbox and adjusts quickly to new surroundings. He’s a happy-go-luck, friendly, affectionate, playful, special boy who just needs a little extra TLC from someone sensitive to his vision challenge. He’d make a great couch-potato buddy to hang out with while watching a movie. Bernard invites you to come meet him and guarantees you’ll fall in love. If you’re interested, you can foster to adopt precious Bernard. It’s really easy -- he gets to come home with you loaded with supplies, and you’ll see if he is a good fit for your family. Once you’re ready to commit, the shelter will take care of the rest.
