Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Today I had a great day! I met a new friend and got to go on an adventure for the day! I was a good boy and very patient while my friend put an easy walk harness on me and was ready to go and hopped into the car right away! She took me to a neighborhood with lots of smells and things to see. I saw people and bicyclists and scooters and dogs. I am curious about other dogs, but I didn't bark. My friend brought along a squeaky toy and I showed her how much I love playing by gently tossing the toy back to her to keep up our fun game! I love squeaky toys! Afterwards, my friend got me a delicious pup cup! What a great day!

Three Words to Describe Me are:
Adorable, Playful, Curious

Notes from My Walker:
Today was Hunter's first Dog Day Out and he was a great buddy! Hunter was very easy to harness and readily hopped into the car. I took him to a residential neighborhood and he enjoyed all the smells as well as the long walk and break from the shelter. He didn’t pull but walked at the end of the leash with some tension - but it was also his first time in the harness. We passed runners, walkers, bicyclists, and scooters and he passed all politely with some curiousity. We saw many dogs across the street or a few houses away and Hunter would show interest by watching them but didn't bark. Hunter is food and squeaky toy motivated and knows sit. I brought along a squeaky toy and he had fun carrying it around and gently tossing it back to me to engage in play. I have to tell you, when you see the way he tosses a toy back to you, it instantly makes you fall in love with him!! I have never seen a dog do that before and it is the cutest and funniest thing ever!! I was in the best spirits after spending time with Hunter! I hope he finds a forever home to brighten their every day together!
