Additional notes: See behavior notes below. Very anxious in kennel, has not shown signs of aggression but very poor kennel presence and extremely high level of stress in shelter is making her behavior and mental state deteriorate further.

She is still lunging at kennel door. After showing her the leash she calmed down and started crying, I opened then kennel door and she went on her bed and laid down and crawled into leash loop. Able to walk and do complete handling on her. While in the volenteer room she is loose and wiggly, has zoomies but comes back and lays on lap. Unsure about others but after introducing starngers she warms up.

Dog has been placed on urgent needs rescue due to the following behaviors documented below.

Front of kennel barking at handler. Opened gate and attempted to leash, dog tries to grab leash with mouth, I walked farther into kennel and dog backed up with stiff tail avoiding the leash.

Lunging at kennel, barking, hackles raised, when opening kennel door "Bella" walks back and barks from far. Unable to get out at this time.
