Mouse fits her name in more ways than one. She both has an unbelievable mousey cuteness and is as quiet as a mouse while on her own! It's amazing how quiet and calm she is even when she's extremely happy. Mouse is also a compact little lady at just 35 pounds! She has the most unique deep mahogany chocolate fur. Mouse is legitimately one of the most beautiful dogs we have seen. It's possible that she is also mixed with chocolate labrador and/or greyhound due to her unique ears. Whatever her mix is in actuality, it's stunning. She would make an excellent candidate for a Doggie DNA test!

She is also a calm and loving girl with her family. Mouse loves placing her head in your lap for pets and staring at you with her beautiful brown eyes. Her tail has the sweetest little mousey wag when she is happy or excited. While she does enjoy walks, this girl is not high energy. If you are a runner, hiker, or other athlete, then Mouse will be waiting for you on the couch when you get home. She will happily lay around or snuggle instead of playing. But when she does play, Mouse loves a chew toy that she can grab and shake.

Housetrained - yes
Basic commands - yes, knows some but would benefit from additional training. She is a fast and willing learner.
Quiet at night - yes
Leash behavior - gentle on leash but needs gentle guidance to stay on the sidewalk. Checks in frequently during the walk to make sure her human is nearby.
Takes treats gently - yes
Dog friendly - she can be particular about other dogs but can warm up when given a slow introduction.
Cat friendly - recommend a no cat home, she likes to chase small animals.
Good in the car - yes

Mouse would make an excellent addition to your low-key family or household. If you think Mouse might be the missing piece of your family, please contact her delighted foster parent as soon as possible! She is a beautiful dog and is not expected to be available for long.
