Martika (I call her peanut) is the sweetest and perfect companion. She loves to be loved and gives it right back to you. She wants to be were you are or will keep and eye on you when not. She enjoys laying around the house, going on walks at the park, having little sing along dance parties, and is great at entertaining herself.

Walks are so much fun with her as she is very easy on the leash. She does get excited on walks around people and other dogs because she likes to say hi to everyone, but was very easy to train with treats during the walk. Is a great companion at the park when just lounging next to me.

She responds well with treats and love when training and I think she will be able to learn so much with some consistency.

She has a kitty fur brother at my house, they get along really well and enjoy playing with each other, my cat is also very relaxed around dogs. Sometimes Martika can play to “dog” like but does so good when I say gentle and will give the cat a break. I think she would do fantastic with a dog sibling based off of interactions outside. I haven’t had her around any young children, but she would probably just give a lot of kisses. She is a gentle girl and I think she would be just as gentle with children with some navigation.

When I gave her a bath she was scared to get into the bathtub, no luck with treats. So I picked her up and she was scared but stood still. And she started to relax the more kisses and love I gave her during it, and she felt so good afterwards you could she felt happy playing around the house after.

Her transition into learning my routine went very smoothly and she picked up quickly! She has really opened up and is showing her playful puppy side, which I am assume that she wasn’t able to have.

Overall Martika or Miss peanut butter cup is a wonderful companion for anyone, single or a family. She will look deep in your eyes and give you unconditional love that will melt your heart.
