Preston did great on his first staycation but found out some more things about this happy dude. He would do better with older kids, doesn’t love the screaming and activeness of little kids. He is a super excitable dog and would need some mental and physical stimulation early in the day to set him for success for the rest of the day. Definitely a leash puller, who needs help not feeling overstimulated outside. Overall, such a happy and good boy and with the right environment and human willing to train him would be an amazing companion.

Preston has been with us for almost a month now and is such a sweet boy! He truly loves to just cuddle up! He is an angel in the house and will relax with you all day if that’s what you want to do!
Outside he does have a high prey drive and will become fixated on bunnies or squirrels. However with some high value treats he is learning to refocus on us instead. He does become overstimulated in high traffic areas and would need time to adjust and learn to relax in those type of settings. Again, he is pretty food motivated and with some patience and consistency he would excel at his training. Overall, he would do well in a quieter environment with someone who is able to give him the time and dedication to his training so he knows the rule of our human world!
