I recall when I first went to the shelter to pick up blue for fostering she stayed towards the back of her kennel timid and shaking, after about 10 minutes she finally warmed up to me and allowed me to leash her. Not shortly after bringing her home she began coming out of her shell and now I see her full personality. She’s an absolute cuddle bug that wants nothing more than to be by my side all times of the day. She does require some exercise at least twice a day as she is spunky and full of energy, fetch with a tennis ball is her favorite. She has gotten along super well with my dog Bjorn over these last couple of months and now they are the best of buds and despite her high level of energy she is gentle in her play. After play time is over and the energy is released, she’s happy to be a couch potato. Crate trained and potty trained all the way, matter of fact she actually enjoys her crate and goes in willingly without any fuss. Often times when I go look for her she’ll be laying in her crate with the door open.
