• He is a very quick learner, when we first started fostering him he was very excited about meal time. Now he has learned to sit and wait for us to tell him it is time to eat, such a good boy!
• He wants to be around you all the time, follows you everywhere and simply loves to be in your presence no matter what you are doing.
• He can have random bursts of energy at times, but as long as he has exercise and playtime with toys he keeps himself entertained and is super easy to be around.



Norman is just about the sweetest cuddle bug you will ever meet!! He has the most soulful eyes and a charming personality to match. He loves everyone he meets! Norman definitely has a labrador-like personality, and has loved going on adventures to breweries, pet stores, and Home Depot! He truly loves car rides and would go with you anywhere.

He wants to be a lap dog and loves giving hugs. He has incredible manners—sits patiently while you put his harness on, lets you touch his paws, ears, tail, etc., and knows sit, shake, down, and stay. He loves to be a couch potato and lounge around all day, but he would be better in an active household as he loves to hike, go on walks and runs, and play fetch. He still has a bit of puppy in him, but with enough exercise he is incredibly well behaved. A fenced in back yard would definitely suit him well.

He is incredible on the leash and loves other dogs, but can play a little rough with dogs (especially smaller dogs) off leash so might need some more training with that. He has not had exposure to cats or children, but he is very complacent about being touched and “man-handled,” so I am sure he would be great with children.

Norman is potty trained and crate trained. He does not bark EVER (except when he met a horse and was not so sure about that), and may whine for a couple seconds when separated from his human, but will quickly find a spot to take a snooze instead! He is desperate to please and very smart and trainable. He is just the bestest boy ever and is so easy to fall in love with!
