Hi there - my name is Ida! I'm a 2-year-old tabby girl and have spent about half of my life in the shelter or foster care.

My foster Mom says I'm an excellent house supervisor and a great buddy overall. I like to follow her and my foster Dad around the house to make sure they're doing everything correctly. I'm a good "helper". I'll even follow them outside to make sure the gardening is done to my standards (I only sometimes get distracted by a squirrel or chipmunk).

I have a lot of energy and like to play with feathers, chase balls or run through my tunnel. I admit that I get bored sometimes and have to give my foster Mom a gentle leg bite to remind her to play with me. I'm super smart and can crack a puzzle feeder no problem!

I don't like other animals in my house and kids are too unpredictable for me. I'd love to have one or two adults to be my new forever family. I'm still learning to love being held and getting pets, but either way, I like to be around my foster Mom and Dad. Whatever room they're in - that's where you'll find me!

Sometimes I get overwhelmed and attack my own tail. Luckily, my foster Mom gives me a calming supplement every day that seems to help. I can still get a little feisty sometimes, but I'm okay with getting a manicure to minimize the damage (and still look fabulous!).

I'm super loyal. It takes me a while to trust new people, but once I do I'll love you forever! I'd love a home with space to roam and get comfy. My foster Mom is calm, but firm with me, and we have a good routine, which keeps me in a good mood. I like to think I'm independent, but really my tough exterior is just hiding a gooey middle. Do you want to be my new pawrents?
