Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Meet Balto, the young and timid husky navigating the shelter with repidation. Through fear clouds his inital interactions, patience unveils the gentle soul within. Balto takes his time warming up to the idea of leaving the shelter, but once outside, his spirit soars. This young husky's eyes light up with the joy of feeling the winter air against his fur as he runs freely. Approach him gently, and you'll discover a tender heart that appreciates the calm touch and the allure of treats. While quick movements may startle him, a slow and understanding approach unveils the trust he holds within. Balto came to us with an injury on his head and we think that's why he's a bit nervous with head pets, but he loves his head scratches.

Interested in meeting me? Please visit our adoption center located at 12425 Monterey Rd in San Martin anytime during open hours (12-6pm weekdays, 12-5 pm weekends). No appointment is necessary and there is no pre-application process.
