LILY - ID#A111139

My name is LILY.

I am a spayed female, black and white dog that looks like a Border Collie and Labrador Retriever.

The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 1 month old. I weigh approximately 47 pounds.

I have been at the shelter since Apr 03, 2024.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Here’s everything you need to know about Lily! ??

????? Lily was an owner surrender and was seriously struggling at the shelter. She was very fearful, but has proved to be the sweetest soul ever. She is now in FOSTER CARE!

?? Lily is cat friendly! She is currently in a foster home with a resident kitty & knows to respect her space.

?? She does have some separation anxiety and will cry for a bit when you leave her in her kennel. She does eventually settle down. She has NOT torn up anything she isn’t allowed to, though.

?? Lily is also dog friendly! She would love a doggy sibling of her own.

??Lily can be high energy, especially after coming out of her kennel, but calms down after some zoomies & just wants to be next to her foster. She is content with laying in bed all day or just hanging out in the office. As long as she gets some exercise, she is good!

???????? Lily would likely do better with older kids, only because of her lingering puppy behaviors that may knock littles over. With some training and direction, she could overcome that!

?? Lily is treat motivated and responds well to a “mama voice” so training will be a breeze with her!

Overall, Lily is a great girl who is ready to find her forever. She will just need some patience and understanding to get settled. Her world was turned upside down just over a month ago, so, of course, she needs some time to figure it all out again. ??

Let us know if you’d like to meet Miss Lily!!
