Calliope means beautiful voice. In mythology Calliope is the muse who
presides over eloquence and epic poetry.
The same can be said of this Calliope. She will sing for you in the kennel,
and her voice is quite lovely. In reality, she just wants you to notice
her. This elegant lady is hard to miss.
Once Calliope leaves her kennel, she becomes a bit coy. She doesn't stay
that way, it's just until she gets her bearings and feels safe. After her
guard is down, then expect to get tons of Calliope hugs, because this girl
has hugging down to an art!
Calliope is decent on a leash and enjoys her time outside and going for
walks - in between those hugs. She has yet to be tested with other dogs,
but if she's your cup of tea, and why wouldn't she be, bring your pup up
and see if she's okay! Calliope would be anyone's cup of tea! Head over and
