KIT KAT - ID#A109100 My name is KIT KAT. I am a spayed female, brown brindle dog that looks like a Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 7 months old. I weigh approximately 49 pounds. I have been at the shelter since Feb 17, 2024. In the real world, a Kit Kat is a chocolate covered bar confection. Well, obviously this Kit Kat isn't close to that! She's a pretty lady who wants to feel safe. And she doesn't. She is very upset about having to spend time in a shelter environment. and it's difficult for her to show affection right away, even though she wants to! She's hesitant in everything she does, which is okay. She doesn't realize her circumstances are temporary. Spend a little time with her, and she does relax enough to allow you to scratch her head. She'll even sneak over and snuggle close after a while. Kit Kat is fair on a leash. Again the uncertainty of where she's going is a hang up for her. She would do wonders in a quiet foster home, (she prefers women) so she can relax and reveal her wonderful self to the world. If you can give this girl an opportunity to just be, then stop by and change her life for the better! |
