Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Meet Bangers, the little panther. This little boy has three favorite past times; playing, sleeping, and eating. And he pretty much has mastered all three. His favorite game is wrestling, and his constant challenger is his brother, Mash. These two will run around the house trying to one-up each other in tackling, or playing keep away with one of the many fruit toys laying around the house. And after a long play session, the next task at hand of course is sleeping. These two are pros at sleeping, and can be found sleeping in different configurations around the house. And with all the energy wasted, nothing makes them recharge faster than their love for food. These boys are very food motivated, so donít be surprised if they try to tell you with their subtle meows, that you are taking too long. They are also not afraid to get in the face of one of the resident senior cats to eat their food, after they have gobbled up their own. They will even come looking around for our human food, and have been known to steal a fry or two.
Bangers is very outgoing and likes to hang out around humans. He loves his pets, and is very demanding of them. He walks around the house looking for a willing human to pet him and will meow and chirp to let us know he would like for us to stop working and give him pets and scratches. And though he is not fond of being held, he tolerates snuggles and kisses, and even comes looking for them here and there, when one of us is in bed. Bangers loves other cats, and just loves to rub up against them. His brother Mash is always his first choice, and if he canít find him, he will walk around the house chirping out to him. Bangers, like his brother, seem to gravitate towards a mama cat figure and can often be found trying to snuggle with our resident older cat, Tabitha.
Overall, Bangers is sweet and definitely very energetic and will need a companion to help him not just burn off the energy, but to also give him a sense of home with lots of love, so it would be great for him to be adopted with his brother, Mash. If it is not possible to adopt both together, Bangers will need to go to a home with another friendly cat who LOVES other cats, enjoys cuddling, and just overall wants to have a best friend to play with. Bangers is still a kitten, so charging and tackling and late night zoomies are his thing. His brother has currently been that for him, as our cats are on the older side, and really don't tolerate kitten antics. He would not do well as a solo cat, and has not had any interaction with children or dogs.
