Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Maggie is a little leery of strangers, but very lovable once she gets to know a person and they've earned her trust. She's great with other dogs of all sizes and loves to play and wrestle with them. She does not require a ton of exercise, but does love to go for walks and play ball or tug. She's the perfect mix of active and lazy. She would do best in a home with no young children. She requires a slow, steady approach from people and can be a bit defensive to a fast approach from a person who has not gained her trust. Ongoing training will be necessary as she settles into her new home. She is a smart girl and very motivated by food, and is fun to train with. She is crate trained and is almost completely potty trained. Getting her on a routine quickly will make her potty training easy to finish. Foster will assist with her transition into the right home, including help with training.
