Reason animal needs rescue:
Cat is prior owned, has been severely hyporexic (decreased appetite) since impound. Moved to quiter, larger kennel, no significant improvement in appetite. Some stool noted in kennel this am. Appetite stimulant started 2/9. P not thriving in shelter setting.
BAR, ~3% dehydrated
OP: mm: pink, slightly tacky crt <1 sec. Dental tart/calc 2-3/4, mod gingivitis
EENT: nsf
CP: HR 260, grade 2/6 sys HM, no arr noted. No pulm crackles or whezzes noted, eupneic; femoral pulses s/s/s.
ABDO: nonpainful; no fluid wave or distention noted. Very small soft urinary bladder
INTEG: increased skin turgor
M/S: ambulatory x 4; no lameness noted.
NEURO: no CN or CP deficits noted.
