Where are our Shar-Pei lovers at?
Fun facts: Did you know that they were once the rarest breeds in the world? Their name means sand skin and they were bred to guard the Royal palace! ?? ??
Now let's talk about Penny the Shar-Pei who is available for adoption! She is 7 years young. ??
She is enjoying her time in her foster home with her foster brother. She loves to go on her walks and is a dream companion in the home. She is quiet and clean! She came in to us with some eye, ear and skin issues and has been on medication and is improving vastly.

?? Her foster had all these things to say about her!
- Reserved with her affection but does warm up quickly
- Responds best to slow movements
- Nervous in new situations but finds security in a confident human and looks to a confident dog for guidance on how to “dog”
- curious, inquisitive
- loves to do laps around the yard and also sit quietly and sunbathe
- great in the car and on leash!
- would love the company of a mature/ calm dog
- loves to cuddle and be close to her people once she trusts them
