Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Ollie was adopted from this shelter many years ago. Ollie's mom unfortunately got very sick and Ollie came back to stay with us until she got better. Even sadder, she did not get better, and he is now in need of a new home.
Ollie is a senior at 10 years old, yet he is spry and up for a nice walk around the block. Ollie loves to do zoomies and belly rubs or butt scritches. Upon arrival, Ollie had a severe flea allergy and was very uncomfortable, but with a monthly flea treatment he has been great and feeling a lot better. The vet thinks that he may have some common, senior dog arthritis like most older dogs do, but this is typical in large breed senior dogs.
Ollie is good with respectful kids and LOVES all people. He is just a happy guy who likes to talk when he has something to say. He does bark when people are around his yard or home or when something exciting is happening, but its not excessive, he is just letting everyone know there is excitement or he wants more pets. Because Ollie is vocal he could go to an apartment given there is someone with him for majority of the time. Please consider adopting Ollie for his golden years.

If you are interested in Ollie and you rent, we will need to see a lease agreement showing you are allowed to have a Shepherd mix with no weight restriction prior to adoption approval.
