Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
This beautiful boy was found as a stray alongside five other dogs on 2/17/24 - two of which were injured. Dean was one of those unlucky two. He had multiple wounds and lacerations. Thankfully, our medical team was able to clean and stitch them up. They’ve since healed well!

Deans always such a happy boy – you’d ever know he’s had it rough! He’s always been a super sweet boy who loves attention. One of his favorite things ever is belly rubs. Pet him for a minute or two and he’ll probably flop right over to ask for them. He typically has an average energy level, but it’s very easy for him to go into excited and playful mode. Especially when he’s fresh out of his kennel and has a lot of energy to burn. Dean is a good leash walker. He loves treats and will sit on command for one. He always takes them nicely from your hand too.
