Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Can dogs be camera shy? Yes, because Buck here definitely is. He’s a little bit shy in general…but you could be sitting and petting him and the second you pull out your phone to try and get a picture or video of it he walks away. He will literally hide behind your back to escape camera range. We wonder what makes him so camera shy. Maybe someone posted an unflattering picture of him before and he’s trying to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Or maybe he’s just self-conscious. He does have some persistent alopecia…maybe he’s worried people will make mean comments?

When he’s not dodging cameras Buck is super cute! He has a habit of staring off into the distance while his ears flap in the wind. He’s easy to put a leash on and take for a walk, and he’s well behaved on a leash. He’s a bit nervous, but totally sweet. He’s very calm and seems to have a low energy level. He hasn’t shown any interest in toys, treats, doing tricks, or playing. He’s a very mellow and independent boy, even when there's other dogs around!
