Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Duke would make such an easygoing best friend. He enjoys people and being pet by them, but he’s also perfectly happy entertaining himself. He walks well on a leash without pulling and typically has an average energy level. After getting some energy out he’s ready to just relax. He’s not too big on running and playing. The only thing that really seems to pump him up is treats. He’s OBSESSED with them and is always so excited to get one. Sometimes he can’t contain himself and stands up on his hind legs like a kangaroo just to be closer to the treat you’re holding, but he’s always careful to never jump on you! It doesn’t matter how many you give him, he’s always ready for another treat. Duke will sit on command for a treat…if you insist…and remind him sometimes. But who can sit still when they’ve got a treat headed their way?
