When 3YO Calliope came into the shelter as a stray on 8/24/23 we were able to make contact with her owner. Unfortunately, they weren’t in a position to be able to care for her, so they did not reclaim her. Now this sweet girl is overflowing with love and just looking for someone to give it to! Calliope is always so excited to get out of her kennel and be around people. She has an average energy level, and a playful streak a mile long. She’s been known to dance and jump around in her excitement to hang out with you. She’ll take all the human friends she can get! She loves toys and treats, and both make her very happy. She already knows how to sit on command and will happily do so as often as you ask. She’s also a pretty good leash walker.
