Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Meet the mesmerizing Miss Missy! This girl's origin story starts out a little rougher than most. She was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car. Luckily a Good Samaritan found her and brought her to a veterinary clinic that was able to provide her with the help she needed. To look at her now you'd never know she was injured…the only noticable thing is that she's missing a portion of her tail that had to be amputated. Missy has been totally medically cleared…but she still doesn't have a home to go to. So she came to the shelter to look for one. She's got a gorgeous, happy smile that's almost permanently on her face. She's very sweet and friendly and loves getting attention from people. If you pet her you're pretty likely to get a kiss or two in return! She walks well on a leash and has an average energy level. She loves treats, but doesn't seem to know any tricks yet. Missy gets along well with other dogs in shelter playgroups, but she doesn't like it when they're too over the top or in her face. She seems to prefer calm, relaxed dogs. The rough and rowdy players stress her out.
