Clara came into the shelter as the mother of a litter of nursing pups. She helped them all find loving homes and has been waiting for her turn ever since. As her motherhood duties have scaled back and she's able to focus on herself more and get the attention she deserves. She's such a sweet dog! She's loves being around people and getting attention. Being pet or taken out for walks makes her smile so big! Clara is very happy to stretch her legs when loose in our play yards. She has an average energy level, but values being pet more than playing. She definitely knows what a leash is for and gets so happy when she sees one. She'll run from across the play yard so you can put it on her and go for a walk. She also already knows how to sit on command.
