Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Astria has grown up in our shelter. While she’s super fun to be around, that’s not what we want for any of our pups. Astria and her littermates were found as strays in terrible condition. They were underweight, FILTHY, and had sores on their skin. Thankfully, with basic medical care, they Astria and her siblings grew to be quite good looking.

Despite whatever troubles she’s had in her past, Astria is a super happy girl now. She’s very energetic and loves to zoom around. She can be a bit awkward, but that just makes her more endearing. Something about having other dogs around to play with makes her feel more confident and she’s a lot less awkward when she attends in shelter playgroups. She gets really excited when you have treats. She doesn’t know any trick yet, but she’s always so happy to eat them! She takes them gently from your hand.
