You know how they say don’t judge a book by its cover? Shelters have a version of that too. Don’t judge a dog by how they act when you walk by their kennel. Our dogs get so excited when people walk by – a lot of times they bark and jump to try and get your attention. They don’t realize they’re scaring you off! Braxton is a perfect example of this. He barks and it sounds really alarming when people are close to his kennel – it’s just a barrier thing. He’s actually very calm and chill. Just let us take him out for you to meet, then you’re sure to fall in love! Loose in the play yard Braxton has a lower energy level. He’s not much for toys or playing, he just enjoys relaxing. He’s independent too and can keep himself entertained. His favorite hobby is sniffing around. After he’s smelt everything he’s likely to just sit down and accept some pets. Braxton has a huge love of treats. While he doesn’t know any tricks yet he always takes them nicely from your hand. He walks well on a leash too without pulling. |
