Don't you see how beautiful Buttercup is? She only has one working eye and even she can see she's gorgeous. That's why she's so happy and confident all of the time. Buttercup came into the shelter as an injured stray on 9/12/22. Her left eye was swollen and protruding from its socket. It's looking better already, but she can no longer see out of that eye. We were able to find owner information for her…but unfortunately they never reclaimed her. Buttercup remains a very happy girl. She always has a big smile on her face and her tail wagging like crazy. She also has floppy ears, which is adorable to watch while she runs around.

Buttercup loves toys and running around and playing. She's such a good time girl - always ready for fun! She gets so excited to chase after the ball when you throw it, and she loves splashing through water. She likes to keep active and walks well on a leash. She also already knows how to sit on command for a treat. She's a big fan of getting attention and being pet. She gets along well with other dogs and is happy to make new friends. She's super playful with her doggy friends and is received best by dogs that don't mind that.
