MAX - ID#A033982

My name is MAX.

I am a neutered male, black and brown Beauceron.

The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old.

I have been in shelter care since Mar 18, 2022.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Max was unfortunately surrendered to the shelter in October because his family had a new child. Max is a very sweet boy, with lots of energy. He already knows how to sit on command, and he's both potty and crate trained! Max definitely subscribes to the "Ball is Life," way of thinking. He's all about fetch! He'll patiently wait for you to throw the ball and then he'll take off so fast to try and catch it before it bounces. He's really good about bringing it back and dropping it immediately, but if he doesn't, he'll listen when you say "leave it," or "drop it." Anything to get the game going again! It's great to watch him playing, too, because his ears are very floppy and they bounce when he runs.

Max has lived well with another dog in short term foster care, and loved having someone to run around and play with. However he wasn't a fan of the foster's cat.
