Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Mia is a five-year-old spayed white and black Cairn Terrier mix (approximately 21 lbs). She came to the Humane Society in March after being surrendered to our Humane Officers by her owners. Mia is adapting to her new temporary home at the shelter, and she enjoys spending her afternoon basking in the sun. She’s getting more used to being around people and socializing though she has made friends with another dog named Scout. As Mia becomes more confident and comfortable, she will make a wonderful little pet. Come by and ask for Mia if you want to meet this charming little lady. Mia will need to be adopted by a family committed to socializing and training her, as well as taking her for regular sessions with a groomer, to keep her coat nice and fluffy.
