Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
My name is Knuckles and I am a black & white domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 9 years old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 02/24/2024 due to the fact they were moving and couldn't take me along. They were my family for 8 years. They adopted me 8 years ago from an animal shelter that is now closed. I am used to staying inside during the day and inside during the night. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I am used to staying in crates when I am alone or need to be safely contained. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men, women, and children. I can be good with other cats and I cannot live with dogs. I can be a bit testy with other cats in a small space like an apartment, but I tolerate them fine in larger spaces like multi-story homes.

All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
