CORRIE - ID#A009251

My name is CORRIE.

I appear to be a female, tortie Domestic Shorthair.

The shelter staff think I am about 5 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Jun 27, 2020.

This information was refreshed 9 minutes ago and may not represent all of the animals at the Haywood County Animal Services.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Although technically still a kitten, Corrie clearly had little to no human interaction before coming to the shelter. She consistently hides from staff and would currently be best suited as a Barn Cat.

Corrie has never lashed out at those who clean her kennel or try to interact with her. With time...a lot of time...she may eventually come around. Unfortunately, we do not have the capability of working with her as much as needed to help her understand that humans are okay. If you decide to take Corrie home, and we really want her to find a home, just please understand that she may always be a Barn cat, even if you do work with her.
