Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Grendel is a very cuddly 12 year old boy! He is blind and deaf but he doesn't let that stop him! His foster had great things to say about him "He loves to cuddle in your lap and loves pets and attention! He doesn't really bark, but he will whine if he feels he is being ignored. He is very good at taking treats from your hand. He likes to wander (or trundle, as my husband says) around the house, and surprised us one day by getting up 10 steps when we weren't looking. He's been doing better at night. We put him back in the crate and he sleeps the night through in there. He is still struggling with going potty inside, but we're going to keep working on that. Oh and he likes to sniff at our dog, but doesn't engage in play with her" This gentleman is ready for his retirement home!

Grendel's $75 adoption fee includes his neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, a heartworm test, and an initial dewomring. Due to Covid-19, adoptions are by appointment only and start by emailing us at!
