Champ is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Champ! I am a handsome 8-year-old fawn boy that is an owner surrender due to my owner passing away and my family can no longer care for me. I am described as shy, protective, and nervous! I can be stingy with my food and will guard it while I am eating. I am said to be dog friendly, but because I am an older boy, I like to relax and not be bothered. I currently live with three kids (ages 9 months-5 years) and I do well with them. I have lived with a cat and because the cat was not friendly with me, I would whine. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in my crate. When the humans must be away and I am left alone, I pass the time by taking a nap. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates! Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, sleeping, and not being bothered by other dogs. If you think I would make a great addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
