Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Hey Arnold!! He had a terrible car accident and had his leg amputated at APA! to save his life. His previous owner loved him since he was a baby but is unable to take him back. He grew up in the house, housetrained, crate trained and lived with two chihuahuas who ruled his world. He never harmed them and grew up with them. He also lived next door to a dog who did bite him but he never bit back. He is a giant headed sweet pittie baby. He is very affectionate with the people he trusts but slow to warm up to people he doesn't know but in his previous home didn't bother people coming over. We don't know yet how he will be other dogs that he didn't grow up with but seems unfazed by them so far as he walks past. He never spent time with kids or cats. He's very low energy- choosing to play with his squeeky toys and lounge next to you all day long- touching your feet and legs. He very gingerly accepts treats and does not get on the furniture. Could you give him a safe spot to recover?
