Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

Hi! My name is Virgie! I am a beautiful 8 year old brindle pocket boxer with big beautiful eyes! Not much is known about my history except that I was a stray in Houston, but have now become a part of the rescue and ready to find my forever home! I am friendly, outgoing, loves all people, loves all dogs, crate trained, house trained, leash trained, likes to play, and likes to go for walks! I sleep quietly in my crate at night. I have met dogs of all sizes and breeds and get along great with them! There is a 4 year old kid in my foster home and I am great with him too! There is no cat in my foster home so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. My foster mom says I am “amazing” and “the best of both worlds”. Although I am playful and energetic I will relax and chill on my dog bed. As an added bonus, there are chickens at my foster home and although I haven’t had a direct introduction to them, I have seen them through their coop and don’t appear to have a prey drive because I don’t react to them. If you are looking for a well mannered, sweet girl, look no further! Contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
