Meet resilient Sitka! Strong, brave, and intelligent, Sitka is a dog with a story who will fill your heart with joy. He does very well telling his humans when he needs to go potty, and is comfortable and content in his crate. He does battle with heartworm and has had multiple bullet injuries to the head, but is persevering in a truly inspiring way. He's beginning to walk with assistance, loves his pets and peanut butter, and is growing to be comfortable in his muscles. Sitka is a dog that requires a little extra TLC, and someone who is around more often than not would be great. But overall he is such a loving puppy who just needs to be cared for as he has come from the worst of circumstances. He is already improving so much Talk about RESILIENCE and INTELLIGENCE! His eyes are kind, his story is strong, and he is an absolute love who deserves the same care as we know he can provide.
