Unlike a shelter or humane society, our dogs are not in one central location, but spread throughout many foster homes across the state. We realize that this makes it difficult to 'come meet our dogs,' but we believe the one-on-one care our dachshunds receive is well worth the inconvenience.

We will work with you to schedule a meet and greet with one or more of our dogs that are determined to be a good match for you and your family.

Munster is a new arrival to CTDR after coming from a shelter in south Texas. She was abandoned on a property when her owners moved away. She has finished her vetting process and is ready for her forever home. She is a little nervous right now but is starting to settle down but will need a little extra time when she meets her new family.
