Unlike a shelter or humane society, our dogs are not in one central location, but spread throughout many foster homes across the state. We realize that this makes it difficult to 'come meet our dogs,' but we believe the one-on-one care our dachshunds receive is well worth the inconvenience.

We will work with you to schedule a meet and greet with one or more of our dogs that are determined to be a good match for you and your family.

Heartworm Prevention is given on the 17th of each month

Noodle is a new arrival to CTDR. He was found as a stray and the finder was no longer able to keep him. He is an active one year old boy who is still in that puppy stage with digging and chewing. He would do better in a home with other dogs, provided they are bigger dogs as he can get a little rough. He is not a fan of cats and it would be best not to have a cat in the home.
