Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Julius isn't just a pretty face, he's also super smart. He's housebroken, crate trained, and quickly mastering commands like, sit, stay, come, lay and more as well as learning to stay off furniture. This curious boy also enjoys a car ride and has great car manners. This high energy boy can get any doggy friend to play with him. He loves to play with other dogs and never loses a game of chase. He is young and energetic and would love to have a canine companion in his new home. He'd also love to keep you company on your run or hike. He is easy on a leash and is always up for an adventure. This gorgeous boy had a rough start to life, spending time on the streets at a stray. He is still quite thin and does need to put on a little weight. Perhaps because of that hungry time on the street he has shown some signs of resource guarding his food on occasion. He is working on training for that behavior, but at the present time young children shouldn't be around him when he is fed. This handsome fella is also a lover and no one can resist giving Julius pets when he gently lays his head on your lap and looks up at you with those soulful brown eyes. Adopting a dog like Julius who has had a tough start to life gives you the opportunity to be a hero to someone. When you have a dog that needs a little training, but is so eager to learn and please, it makes the process easier for everyone. And when Julius looks at you with so much love, like you are the most fabulous thing on the planet, you'll be asking yourself, "who rescued who?
