Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
If the main character of the Big Lebowski was a dog, it would be Ichigo. He is one chill dude. He is easy going, mellow and loves people. He just wants to hang with his humans and watch TV. He is a lovable couch potato. He is housebroken and is learning to sit. He greets you at the door and sits while you put the leash on for his walk. He loves to go on walks and behaves well. He only pulls if he sees a squirrel or an anxious or loud dog is barking at him. He is learning the "leave it" command and redirects quickly. Other than that he walks loosely on his leash and loves to go your pace. He does not have any bad habits, just needs a little more training for lay, down and stay. He does not have any issues with storms, does not jump on counters and stays out of the trash. He has pulled his dog food bag out of its container but that has been his only issue when left alone. He is a very good boy. I think Ichigo would make a great family dog with or without another dog. He loves attention, rarely jumps on people (is learning off) and is very gentle. He's a great match for a family looking for a loveable dog who deserves a permanent home.
