Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Ulysses, like his namesake, is the hero of this story who is looking for his home. He's living in a foster home and preparing to join a family of his own. Each day he continues to prepare himself for his long-lost family by practicing key skills: They include warning his nemesis, the UPS truck, to stay away. It's important to patrol the area to check for invading UPS trucks. Ulysses also practices his cuddle skills, preferably on the couch, at least 20 hours each day. One or more human adults to cuddle with are required for this practice. He also takes shelter from storms and loud noises, like fireworks, or lawnmowers. Keeping up his strength is important for his journey. While he believes his diet should consist primarily of cheese and peanut butter, his fosters do encourage him to eat more balanced meals. He also loves doing zoomies. Zooming is a key skill, and he practices this regularly, preferably while throwing toys in the air to himself in the yard. He likes taking walks, too. Ulysses is searching for an adult-only home where he can exercise both his body and mind. He'd love a backyard but could do well in certain apartment settings if he has regular walks. While he gets along with some well-matched dogs, his fosters believe he'll do best as the only dog in a home. If you'd like to give this hero a home, please reach out. He's been waiting a long time for you!
