Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
What if? What if perfection is a myth? What if you took a chance? What if you saw the world a little differently-just like Boss Hog? Boss Hog came to APA! after likely getting hit by a car. While he didn't sustain any broken bones, it's likely his brain was effected. This can be seen in the way he walks-a little wobble. And the way he interacts with the world-it takes a second. And the way he sees-not well! Boss Hog is a sweet and affection guy once he can get to know you. Sometimes his brain doesn't always catch up to licker and he may growl and bark a little. He doesn't mean it! He's just a little imperfect! Boss Hog has been in a couple of short term fosters and has done well one-on-one with adult humans. His housetraining is coming along nicely and somehow, no matter where you put it, he always steps in his water bowl. Boss Hog is down for the snuggles and walks around the neighborhood. He'll likely do best as the only pet as he can sometimes get startled. He's a dog worth working for-you'll never regret taking a home a dog that needs YOU the most! Come meet him at the shelter-he's taking applicants from 12-6 daily!
