Hey there, I'm Red, and I'm here to melt your heart with my laid-back charm and affectionate nature! I'm currently enjoying the good life in a foster home with some furry friends, and let me tell you, I'm living my best life! I'm a chill dude who gets along well with everyone, whether it's other dogs, children, or even cats! I've been around a 12-year-old boy and did great, and I recently met a cat and barely even noticed it. No sign of wanting to chase or cause trouble - I'm just a cool customer. When my humans are away, I'm on my best behavior. I've never chewed anything and prefer to free roam rather than be cooped up in a crate. And when it comes to house training, I've never had an accident - I know the rules! I'm currently under slow treatment for heartworm, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying life to the fullest. On walks, I do pretty well on the leash, with just a bit of light pulling that improves as we go along. And when it's time to relax, you'll find me lazing around the house, snuggled up near my humans or snoozing by their feet. I'm a cuddle bug at heart and love nothing more than being close to my people. Meeting new people is no problem for me - I'm always friendly and polite. And while I enjoy the occasional adventure in the woods, my perfect day is spent lounging around the house, soaking up all the love and attention I can get.
