Winston II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Winston! I’m a 4 year old handsome fawn boy with a natural monkey tail that is an owner surrender due to the decline in health of my current owners. I have tested positive for heartworms, but am currently on treatment for it! I am said to be friendly, smart, calm, quiet, affectionate, and obedient. It has been discovered I am not cat friendly and it is imperative that I do not live with any. It is unsure if I am dog friendly and my current owners suspect that I haven’t been socialized with other animals, so a proper introduction is needed. There are currently no children in my home and a proper introduction would be needed with them as well. I am a smart boy and am house trained, crate trained, and will come when I am called! At night I sleep in the living room and when I must be left alone, I do fine and am not destructive. When I am outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, sleeping, and affection from humans. My current owners’ daughter says I am a “very smart dog that loves being with people”. I will lay at her feet when she comes to check on my owners and I will come immediately when she calls me back inside.
